Mr. Ohl

Hello and welcome to Waukee High School!  Whether you a returning upperclassman or first-year student you will find many exciting changes happening at the high school.  WHS is a progressive school with a clear vision of what we are and where we are going.  The teachers here at WHS are driven by our students and we have high expectations for you.

I am originally from Mason City, Iowa and graduated from Newman Catholic High School.  I attended Drake University and graduated with a degree in Marketing while earning a teaching certificate.  I went on to receive a Masters degree in Public Administration from Drake.

Prior to coming to Waukee I served as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Drake University.  Some of my responsibilities at Drake included scouting, player development, academic liasion, and Camp Director for Bulldog Basketball Camp. The area I enjoyed most while at Drake was working the student-athletes on a daily basis and forming some very strong relationships and friendships along the way.  I was fortunate enough to meet and work with some exceptional people who have significantly impacted my life.  

I look forward to serving the students of Waukee High School.  Do not hesitate to contact me throughout the school year with any questions, big or small, that might arise.
